remember folks, unless you're wearing a helmet whenever you're driving your car, you dont want to go and run a roll cage. running one on the streets as a daily driver can kill you in an accident even if the entire cage is properly cushioned with foam..etc. you need a full 5 point harness, and proper seats before you go buying a roll cage!

I have the exact same seats, harnesses and amuse bar as wiggins I would be interested in one as thats the only reason I have the amsur support bar was to screw u harnesses into it and look bad ***. Being able to keep that piece of shinny and make the car street/track drivable I like. Most likely be interested in a 4 point having not seen a 6 yet. I do recall this process some tie back about producing these and I'm glad it's not gonna die

I had a conversation with Mike at Endurance Motorsports today to discuss some logistics and I know Billet did as well so he can chime in from his discussion. Here's a brief summary. Mike expressed some concern related to those of you looking to install this cage and use it in any sort of "class" racing event, reason being is there are apparently (I can neither confirm or object to this) specific rule sets for cage building when racing in certain classes. When I went to Endurance last spring, the cage was built for show and street use. The cage is built with high quality materials and is more than rigid enough for my purposes, however Mike expressed that if someone wanted to use this cage for class racing he would much rather have the car and build a cage specific to that car.
So that being said, who's looking for a cage for street and show use? Yes, the cage is rigid enough to use with a harness so this option can replace other options of the same variety on the market for just a fraction more in cost. I would also assume the cost of a raw, un-powdercoated cage will be about $900 plus shipping. I'm planning on taking my car to Endurance towards the end of March for some other work so, depending on interest these could be ready as soon as late April. Im not asking for any sort of payment. Right now I just want to gauge interest at a more serious level so here starts a list. Lets see how many we have on board. 1) wiggins3377 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) 10)

We were looking at NASA standards... I have a question out to nasa in respects to the bolt in aspect of the cage. Nasa is more strict than scca.

The track I go to doesn't have any rules for a cage. But in the future. I'm planning on going to other tracks. And I don't know if they have any rules for cages. So I would like to be safe and not sorry if it was built to someone's spec's.
