I think I've stated what my purpose for the cage is and also disclosed that to everyone on this thread. Im not tracking my car and never plan to. For me its aesthetics and that's it! Feel free to voice your opinion, but let others make up there own mind if there intentions are similar to mine.

It's just for looks not a because race car cage. Just sent them an email.
|
They will be making mine to some sort of race spec... I wont be doing 6 point. They can build one to race spec for anyone who needs it or wants it.
|
It is one thing to have a roll bar for looks,I guess I can appreciate that.
Trust me, I have a 6 point roll bar in my Z and I LOVE the way it looks. http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...l-roll-bar.jpg A roll CAGE is another monster indeed. Those front bars could kill you in a crash if you don't have a helmet on(in fact they can kill you even with a helmet on). Please install SFI rated roll bar padding on any part of the cage your head could come in contact with . Keep in mind that SFI rated roll bar padding is not soft to the touch. |
Id buy one

I just going to put this out there for those that are interested in a rollbar that will meet SPCCA/NSA/NHRA standards...RPM Rollbars makes a bolt in bar that fits the Z. I have one and it looks good and it's functional. They come in mild steel and molly...

nvm I saw them on their site...not bad |
I need to get the car cleaned up and take some photos...my bar is painted red and against the black Nismo seats and red Nisom icon and stitching looks pretty hot!
|
The RPM bars look nice. Just keep in mind that you could get a custom welded bar for that price or even less. Of course it would not be removable.

You need to go to their web site for information, they all come with a tag stating what they are rated for. Mine will comply with SPCCA but not NSA!
