Base/NISMO Seat with integrated SRS airbag = 42.4 lbs
Airbag assembly from SRS Seat = 1.6 lbs
NISMO Cat-back 'H' Pipe [Midpipe] = 17.2 lbs
NISMO Cat-back Rear Muffler Section [Can] = 35.2 lbs
NISMO Cat-back Front 'Y' Pipe [bolts to cats] = 13.6 lbs
Base/NISMO Headunit/Radio = 2.6 lbs
Rear Under bumper Charcoal Filter Cover/Shield = 0.4 lbs

Charcoal filter is kinda a wild card, but I had to take it off to make room for my passenger muffler can from GTM, Here's a picture

And here is the NISMO CAT-back that I weighed

Rear muffler section, Midpipe or H pipe, and Y pipe that bolts to the cats.

Just joined the forum and was happy to see this thread already here. Thanks for all the info so far. Just wondering, aren't the doors and hatch on the 370Z aluminum? I thought I remembered reading that somewhere but can't seem to find it again...

i looked through the entire thread and didn't see a weight for the stock hood. i was getting rid of mine (crashed/bent but intact) so i weighed it at the recycler and made a good $5 weee!

The bare stock hood (no latch, weatherstrip, etc) weighs 16 pounds. not sure if you guys need proof. i can scan the slip and post a pic of the f'd up hood, if needed. just lmk.

Anyone thinking about some Carbon Fibre parts?? I was thinking about a CF hood until I hound out the CF hoods weigh around 12 pounds and the Z's aluminum hood weighs 16 pounds. 4 pounds isn't that important for me to spend 500 dollars on it. I don't want to replace the hatch due to weight distribution. CF hoods for the 370z aren't out yet (I think)...Well yeah, any other carbon fibre products that could make a significant weight difference??

Anybody see the new rules for the T2 Z34 regarding SCCA? Ya'll better start putting the weight back on if you are going to run. Screwed.

Did you weigh the factory Nismo rims? or does anyone have the weight for front 9.5 & rear 10.5 Nismo rims? not the S-Tune, the ones on the factory car.

give me until next week when I powdercoat them and I'll let you know. I have heard it's 22 lbs. from Nissan, but not sure if that is front, or back, or what

Thanks, that would be great I'm considering picking up a set of these. I would think they the are lighter then the factory sport wheels, at least I'm hoping.

Cobra has a whole bunch of seats that are lighter at 8.2-9.5 kg. These seem to be much lighter than Recaro.
