Condensation-water in my daytime running lights, normal?

Hey guys so I noticed that there was condensation in my daytime running lights. Is this normal? Should I take it to the dealer? -Raj

No not normal, car looks new and under warranty yes I would take it to a dealer.

The plug on the rear of the light may not have the rubber bushing to seal them. Make dealer fix the issue. If they can't take some sillicon and seal the pulgs up after you dry them out with a hire dryer.

Water will cause discoloration over time and they will turn yellow from the inside. For what you paid for that car new. I would be pissed too.

if it's just a cloudy fog like condensation, not water droplets, chances are dealer will tell you it's normal.

it's not unusual for factory lamps to have some level of fogging in some conditions.

yah, unless i have water collecting and staining the inside of the lens i wouldnt care. i dont look at my lamps that often, but ive seen other cars of mine having some level of fog and it went away after a day or two.

it's not like they assemble these headlamps in super low humidity clean rooms and put desiccant for MSL2 or wat not. lol it's going to have some humidty inside the lamps that will cloud if placed under certain conditions.

Actually i have a small tank of argon. Its heavyer than O2 and pushes out the oxygen after i seal them up. Pissed off owners is not something i like dealing with.
