Custom ported and CNC throttle bodies, upper and lower manifolds
EDIT 5/11/18....all new prices as of today. Below now reflects this.
I can also be reached on Facebook at Scott Thomas with a pic of my Z on the track. For Sale, custom ported intake system package Up for sale are all 3 parts of the intake system on a 370z/G37 intake system. The throttle bodies, the upper manifold, and the lower manifold. First up the throttle bodies... These OEM TB’s are disassembled, CNC bored out to 63mm from 58mm, a new butterfly plate is cut from brass stock to match the new bigger size of the throttle body, the butterfly shaft is profiled thinner and flattened from being round like OEM, new flat head screws are installed vs the bigger rounded OEM ones and Loctite down to spec, and reassembled to the point where the car will run like stock without having to adjust the idle screw or adjust the idle within the tune!!! These CNC bored throttle bodies are $525shipped to your door with all fees paid for. Upon the return of your OEM throttle bodies to me, you will be refunded $190 in a core exchange program. It will be your responsibility to make sure it's packaged correctly and shipping insured incase of damage. Second, the upper intake manifold... This is the OEM upper intake manifold off our cars. This manifold is port matched to the new bigger throttle bodies and to the new ported lower intake manifold I'll talk about next. The upper intake manifold will also be ported through and through increasing its size overall in all 6 runners and each throttle body location. These ported upper intake manifolds are $330 shipped to your door with all fees paid for. Upon the return of your OEM upper intake manifold, you will be refunded $100 in a core exchange program if all hose attachment locations and mounting locations are not broken off in shipping. It will be your responsibility to make sure it's packaged correctly and shipping insured incase of damage. Lastly, the lower intake manifold... This is the OEM lower intake manifold off our cars. This manifold is port matched to the bigger upper intake manifold. The lower intake manifold is ported through and through increasing its size overall in all 6 runners and polished smooth for even flow. These ported lower intake manifolds are $425 shipped to your door with all fees paid for. Upon the return of your OEM lower intake manifold, you will be refunded $150 in a core exchange program. It will be your responsibility to make sure it's packaged correctly and shipping insured incase of damage. Now onto some pictures... Before throttle bodies After throttle bodies Before upper After upper Before lower After lower

I already have a Z1 Plenum installed, but I am definitely interested in ported TBs and the lower manifold. I would definitely pick those up if the porting could be done beforehand.

^This, plus you could possible keep doing it and make a little for your trouble. Like a core swap out type deal or something, if you have good results and the price is nice I'm sure there would be interest.

The TB's though I'd ship to Maxbore but have a return label for the seller. That way shipping isn't paid twice.

Results will 100% be positive, just depends what someone will pay. I mean a m370 mani is $550 to lose top end power only to gain it in the midrange. So for $225 plus porting is that worth 1-5-10-15hp somewhere in the powerband?

god I really wonder what all these would produce for gains on my built motor syno? im especially curious in 2 things 1. how well specifically the new throttle bodies would perform and 2 would I lose integrity of a plastic manifold in which im already concerned about running 22-26lbs of boost through.
if these mods could actually be "SAFELY" beneficial to me it might not be too bad of an idea really.

1. it can only help!!!! trying to push boost through a 2.35" hole is going to be restrictive since you know its difficult to make power pushing pushing boost through the OEM since MAF tube. at least on a subi if you converted to blow through setup the 2.5" pipe was to small and you needed to go to 3". so porting to 2.48" again can only help in my eyes. 2. i wouldnt worry about the mani. subi again on the wrx is composite also and we ran 20+ and tested to 40+. SH*T does happen though so you never know. nothing on the car was designed for boost so its a gamble and you gotta pay to play.

oh trust me bud, pay to play I know very well. I might honestly be interested in doing what you have syno. at 800whp/25lbs I'm positive this will show SOME sort of difference. I can do all of the porting myself im mostly interested in the maxbore TB upgrades.
