I'd love to buy all of these and take it to Z1 for tune and test. Unfortunately cash isn't flowing well at the moment lol. I think best results and to ensure accuracy, run with current mods and tune. Then install the tb, and manis and retune. I think that would be the best.

Hmmm, full tune, get number, add parts, tune, get numbers?

That might work.

Yup. All in one day. That way weather isn't a factor. Nothing else changed on the car. Using the same tuner on the same dyno.

So I've decided to pay for a locals uprev license to get this moving along (cheaper than you think :) ). We will be tuning his G37 as is right now with CAI, HFC and CBE. I will then be adding my parts, do a base run to see what they do alone, and tune again. So all of you that have been waiting, wait no longer.

As I thought talking with the tuner these parts WILL show the greatest gains for FI guys! So if 500hp isn't enough then come see me. The tune is setup for November 30th at 3pm at Covert Tuning in Columbus, which by the way, nice cars! Currently 4 TT Lambos sitting around with 100% CNC custom manifolds with integrated BOV's, 4" intake pipes, CNC exhausts, headers etc etc.

Stay tuned.

How would the M370 manifold be effected along with this modification? I know very little about mechanics. Definitely would need a tune. I am intrigued about this easy mod for a NA 370z. Good luck with dyno results.

I am also interested but waiting for results.

guys got me nervous!! whats everyone think will be exceptable? keep in mind after LTH or catless the gains are pretty much down hill. some people spend $1600 on a CBE that doesnt do a hole lot so under $1000 after all other mods have been done what are you guys thinking????? 1-5-10-15?

ever thought about selling custom CAI to pair up with the bored tbs?

brucelidat 11-14-2014 12:11 AM

if this combo can add 10 whp/trq on top of my mods, I'm in. How much labor would there be to install all 3 pieces?

yes i have as ive made mine in both 2.5" OEM and 2.75". the 2.5" was just like the stillen gen 3 so you need to cut your radiator support and the 2.75" i simplified the bends and put the filters in the wheel well. i mounted them high up for water reasons so that install you need to cut different parts of the support. im just not sure people are down for that.
