Anyone know of a DIY guide for the lower intake manifold? I installed the M370 a few months ago with no issues. I'm just concerned about the lower because of the fuel rails and the injectors.

Been researching what bolt ons I should get on before I tune. I presently have a FI 18” resonated CBE and FI RHFC. I’m looking to add the right combination of power mods. Through research, I can see that you are the man to talk to as I can see you know what you're doing and are providing a fair quality service here. Can you let me know the present prices are for your kit?

Also, Is there anything else you might recommend outside of your kit to improve my setup? Headers?

Lastly, I would appreciate it if you might advise me as to which intake out of these three you would recommend ? AAM 2.7” , AdminTuning 3”, or the Z1 CAI. Which ID will work best?

Thanks.

prices are current on the first post. uppers are $330 with $100 core, lowers are $425 with $150 core and TB's are $495 with $190 core.

for the NA there is not much to do besides intake and exhaust. intake starts at the filters and ends at the heads. exhaust starts at the heads and ends at the mufflers, so its really all what you can afford and when you want to buy the stuff. things like pulleys, pumps, gears etc are either not needed or WAY down the road!!

intakes im not a huge believer in. I see all shapes and sizes and I cant say ive seen or believe one making huge power over another. of course the manufacturers are going to show you a ton of power. in the end all of us are pretty close in power so buy what you want. Z1 will be bolt on a go, AAM will be leave the insert in until you get tuned and anyones 3" will be impossible to install and go get tuned as it will be un-drivable. then are you able to install a whole intake in the tuners parking lot or on the dyno and not get charged or waste their time? so intakes up to you.

Have you had any time to work on the DIY for the lower intake manifold? This mod is still on my build list. So I'm very interested.

I haven't but a quick to do is...

After covers and strut brace etc, remove the intakes or the one section attaching to the TB's or just bend them out of the way. Plenty of room.

Unbolt the TB's and you can leave them attached to the coolant lines if you haven't deleted them already.

Unplug the MAP sensor, pull the vacuum lines off and the brackets holding the coolant lines and evap lines on the back of the upper. Should be 5 vacs total.

Unbolt the upper and pull off.

For the lower remove a 10mm holding a bracket down on the left side so you can get to a 12mm holding another bracket down below it. With these loose the fuel rails will have enough wiggle room.

Remove the 2 10mm bolts holding the fuel rails to the line from the tank. There's a rubber washer in there so be careful.

Unbolt the 4 12mm bolts holding the rails to the lower. Pull up on the rails so the injectors come out of the lower. Pull hard they stick.

Once the rails are free, pull up and out so you can get to the harness clip. Don't try and unclip it with the rail still bolted down and don't forget to plug it back in before you bolt the rail back down.

Unbolt the lower, done.

Does anyone know how to contact synolimit? I sent him a PM awhile ago, but never heard back. I know at one point he was reachable through Facebook, but I don't have that info.
