Getting the throttle bodies took a little over a week I think. Install was super f-n easy, took about an hour from tear down to reassembly. Excellent quality, looks like its bored out 1/4" bigger with new butterfly plate. Communication was excellent, answered all my questions immediately. With no doubts, he's a good dude good seller, will definitely recommend to anyone looking for items for their 370z. Appreciate it bud. Now I'll get my car tuned in the next two weeks and I'll report back.

All new pricing now that I'm on my own and no longer have bigger overhead and double shipping costs! I've also lowered initial payout for my parts before you return yours and the costs now reflect the current market price for what I'd have to pay if you keep my ported parts and don't send me back your OEM unported stuff.

Individual costs are now

Ported Upper's $230
Ported Lower's $275
Ported TB's $280

Everyone wants to see runs where the only diff is the set of ported parts. That means all other mods are the same before and after, nothing added except for the ported set. It also means that the car must be tuned before as well so the only difference are the ported parts. Basically, we need a controlled test where the only thing that changes are these parts, not these parts plus a tune (no tune before) or these parts plus a CAI or anything like that. If we see that these parts alone give 10 or more whp/wtrq, I am sure many who want to max out NA power will purchase them.

Why would you risk running lean without a tune? Pointless since you're going to tune anyways.

Maybe before with tune and after with tune.

Yes, i am saying tune before and after not tune only after because then we have gains from the parts and tune which doesn't give us a clear idea of what the parts did themselves vs what was gained form the tune.
We need dynos where the only thing that changes is the parts (with a tune for those parts of course, but not on a car that wasn't previously tuned before these parts were added)

Here or in another thread I tried to show this. The car ended up running lean and we couldn't show just the parts. We have to show the car tuned to the max before as that's how you needed to do it. then we add the parts and tune to the max again. Adding just parts doesn't work if the car doesn't like them. We end up seeing a negative or poor result. It also doesn't make sense to add the parts and show the numbers since that's not how the car will be setup. Kinda like gutting a race car and bragging you weigh so little when you've yet to add a roll cage.

Why would we show an untuned car, add parts, then tune and show those numbers? You'd be showing a tune plus parts then. That'd show you just cheating and saying the increase was something it's not.

This is as good as it's gonna get on a 2015 with cai, lth, and cbe. The 306 is tuned with no ported parts. The 316 is tuned and ported. The 324 is tuned, ported, and 5th gear. I don't know how I can make it any better.

brucelidat 07-18-2015 11:18 PM

Oh, I didn't know we had this. I thought all the dynos were of cars that were untuned before these parts, then tuned after. You should add this to the first page post to make sure everything is clear.
