These look interesting, any other pics showing where the filters sit??
I wonder if these will produce the same kind of gains as the Stillen.
Price seams right  Dyno charts??

You have to replace your washer fluid holder with that orange one.

This thing looks like a nice alternative to the Stillen G3... I am still waiting for a PM from another vendor, but this looks like a fair price.

I've never taken a look at the stock washer fluid reservoir, but I'm assuming that the Injen one is smaller? Hopefully lighter? Haha.

The filter goes down to where the stock washer res sits.

Sonic370Z 08-06-2009 01:12 PM

my guess is that the filter points down (as opposed to the pipe curving and pointing in to the center like on the Stillen), and therefore interferes or is obstructed by the OEM resevoir. I had Injen on my RSX-S and it was the same story. The intake came down between the bumper and wheel well and then curved so that the filter was pointed to the grille. without replacing the reservoir the filter would not fit.

oh cool i get it now

There is something about this intake system that I like...but...looking at the dyno the HP gains are only at the last few hundred rpm's. That is hardly noticable! However the Torque gains are massive at low RPM's which should be very noticable. Any thoughts??? Would proper tuning be needed to see these torque gains?

nevermind...that was not torque I was seeing on the graph..........Why does the front bumper cover need to be replaced?

You need to remove the front fascia to access everything for the install.
