Mr Desmo,
I own the FI system. I understand your post and your delima. The sound is awesome imo but there in lies the problem. Enjoyment of the exhuast tone is subjective. Im not a big fan of the interior noise levels of the vehicle itself, but the exhuast is a pleasure to listen too. I do plan on adding some Raamat and foam not to deaden the exhaust note but to clean up the background from the road noise. I hope it does not dimish the sound of the exhuast too much because imo it truly is perfect for me. I'm not a fan of rice, drones, rasp, or any of the other negative issues with moding v6 exhuasts. I believe the tone and note form the FI system give a more exotic flavor to the car than anything else. Just my hope they help. Sorry you can not hear nor ride in a car equiped with one of these systems. I'm sure it would help your decision process.

...and BTW it seems like more than one person has bought the FI CBE based on audio from YouTube. Like it or not, mr-desmo is entitled to express his opinion here.

Got my Fast Intentions CF catback today!! Sweet!
opened the box,..just the catback though and missing the Hi Flow Cats,..Only received 1 large box though UPS states that there are 2 boxes? I take it it still on its way.. I did just finish installing like 5 minutes ago and it does sound sweet,....nice European tone to it,..kinda reminds me of the old Ferrari Monza twin tip exhaust note... Will drive this around and may skip installing the Hi Flow Cats,..just not sure as Im going to go thru the power threads and listen to You Tube clips again to see if it will be too loud vs. power gains.... It's just that people are really quick to take my [very informative] posts and twist them whichever way they want. I just want to make sure I cover both sides of the story. I love Tony and love what he's done for us but I'm NOT going to give you all a bunch of fluff... I tell it like it is so people can make informed decisions. I had to bitch at some nannies in the other thread because they think I'm complaining about the exhaust. Heck no. I love this exhaust and I love my car. It sucks that my SO is bothered by it but we have a Benz so we will just take that on trips. It's quiet. Oh wait, it's not. I installed exhaust on that one, too. **** yeah. Seriously, though, I'm going to buy another car and LEAVE IT ALONE so when we need to be quiet we can be. But really, all the haters who think I'm complaining about this can It annoys me at times but damnit I still love it. Your wives annoy you guys at times but you still love them, right? They bitch you out and make you feel like the smallest little piece of **** on the planet at times, but then they can turn it around and light your world on fire in the bedroom. Get it? Good. (I am not being negative to you in any way, Dreamer. In fact, I like you a lot and will be providing you with rep). Happy Halloween. M4a1 OUT.

Page #1 is updated with the most current list. 4 months in and we are still going strong thanks to all of you.
AND........... The prototype will begin this coming Monday November 9th of the (LONG TUBE HEADERS). We will do our best to have pictures, sound clips and possibly dyno charts up by Thanksgiving. FAQ's: Q: How much will they cost? A: Once they are put into production we will set the pricing. There will be a retail and then a introductory sale price, no group buy. Q: I know that they will replace the stock manifolds, but will they also replace the stock cats? A: Yes to both, they will bolt up into the stock location on the front of the cat back. So they will work with a stock cat back or ours! Q: Will they throw a CEL light? A: As of right now, I will venture towards NO they will not. Q: Will there be room for a resonator or high flow cat within the header? A: Not on this version right away. Down the road with possibly a mid length version. Q: Will the LTH's be louder then a car with shorty headers and aftermarket cats? A: Most likely! Q: Will they make torque and power then a shorty and HFC? A: That is the point! It should make more torque than power. Q: What material will they be offered in? A: Standard T-304 Stainless Steel and ceramic coating upon request ($$$). Q: Will they be CARB approved? A: NO for California, OFF ROAD USE ONLY. The other 49 states, it will all depend on your laws. Q: Is Fast Intentions really this good? A: "Where the impossible is possible" For any other questions please do not hesitate to ask... Thank you, Tony Fast Intentions Inc. (818) 882-2788

[QUOTE=mr_desmo;256743]Because you dont see in my avatar the i have a 370 means i dont own one Why would i lose time here? I have 4 cars.
My opinion is base on ytoutube videos and owners comments about the need to put dynamat luxury in the back of the car etc...there IS better solution to quiet a car while maintaining the full spectrum of sounds the vq37 can produce ...not just basse...But your right i dont quite fit in this forum qhere titanium burnt tips and hks full power are considered classy setups[/QUOTE spelle chek iz works |

Thank you for pointing that out. I needed to update the list and now it is done. Take a look at it when you have a moment. As of right now, you would be #058 and turnaround time would be about 3-4 weeks. Obviously next week is short due to the holiday but there are only 5 or 6 ahead of you. However, I am currently working on closing 3-4 orders within the next day or so. With that being said, please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions or are ready to move forward. Also remember, I do not bill your card until I ship your exhaust... Thank you, Tony

Based on how fast the list moves... you guys must turn these things out very very quickly...
Based on the customer's order, how long does it take you to mock up, fab, weld, finish off an exhaust?
