Whoa, really surprised there is only a 3hp difference between HFC and straight pipes.

No doubt, for 3 hp, may as well keep it somewhat legal. Unless that would also translate in larger gains down the road with an intake.

See, I guess my theory/question is, if you buy something like the stillen g3, would you get 17 hp gains instead of say, 14 hp? Now we are compounding the gains, so you may only get 3 from the exhaust, but 3 from an intake as well. Now we are at 6, which might be worth going straight pipes.

I'm not convinced on LTHs yet. I have not seen enough proof there is enough of a restriction there to make it worth the cash.

im still on stock cats so i think itll be a bit of an improvement for me :tup:

You sure? Isn't the stock cat more of a restriction than the stock exhaust manifolds?

yes, but the headers will replace the cats and manifolds...
