If you just compare tone and volume, what's the difference between Type 1 DTS and GRIP?

The volume for the DT-S exhaust sounds slightly louder and more aggressive then the GRiP.

The weight of the DT-S to the GRiP is similar and not much different at all. We are expecting for our shipment to arrive today. So we will find out exactly how much it weights compared to the GRiP exhaust!

Yesterday I drove to Ark to get their new DTS Exhaust installed. Fitment is great, great clearance pretty much just like stock. Pretty much just took the exhaust from the box and installed. Sound is great, nice deep rumble, no rasp no drone on the freeway (you can barely hear it on 6th gear on the freeway) which is great.

I will have sound clips at the track, going to Streets of willow this Saturday.

Do you have HFCs installed? I've got ERZ/CNT cats installed on my stock exhaust and don't like the rasp around 4k RPM. I'm hoping giving that the description of this exhaust says that it's been developed to reduce/eliminate the HFC rasp/hiss that it'll be perfect for me. I'd be interested to see how much one of these systems will be shipped to Australia.
