Default Future Release : ARK PERFORMANCE INC HFC & GRIP TYPE 2 v2

Hello 370z Community. I know most of you guys are anticipating many things to come out for the 370z.

Here is the Break down...

1. 370z Type 2 v2
We have been working on making every batch count. We are taking all of our comments and suggestions seriously. The biggest downside to the type 2 was the ground clearance. We cut and remade our JIGS so that the clearance between the ground and our exhaust is close to stock. This way, even the hellaflush guys would consider running our exhaust systems.

2. 370z Type 1.
Through a series of tests. We have been able to reduce the amount of hiss and rasp coming from the HFC and testpipes without taking away the tone of the ARK 370z exhausts that you guys love so much.

3. ARK HFC
You guys will be in for a big surprise when we are done with this. We have decided to go with a HFC construction as oppose to a testpipe construction due to the core helping to eliminate that rasp. We know for a fact that TP's do produce more power. However, we found out the 370z guys are not willing to sacrifice the sound quality of their exhaust systems for the whp difference between the HFC and TP. The picture below is not the final product nor does it resemble anything close to what we have planned for this HFC project. All we know at this point is that it will take some time. We plan to release this before November for SEMA 2011.

Like always, your support for ARK Performance made us realize that we should take another step into knowing more about the VQ engine and we will continue to produce more innovative high quality systems for all VQ platforms. Thank you for your patience thus far.

Sounds really good guys... i'd like to see a dyno on the CBE as I think a lot of others would as well. It looks very well built, but I wouldn't want to buy the type 2, only to have the Type 1 dyno 5-10 more whp for a little extra money... of course I don't know what the Type 1 will cost either.

Now the only thing that you guys need to offer for the perfect exhaust system is 3" piping and downpipes for turbo/future turbo fellas. =)

In due time. Clearance is tough with our X and dual resonator setup. Once we see that there are more and more forced Inductioned 370z's. We will be sure to jump on this.

Do it. I like the burnt tip look but no one makes a true 3" CBE with burnt tips. is be in for that exhaust, I currently have ark type 2. You could see, after the v2 about the level of interest in a 3" by ARK and then decide.... good luck with you type 2 v2 exhaust ARK

I have the V1. Try and adjusting the muffler. Have a friend put some pressure on it while you bolt it down.

I really love my V1's but I think my cars too low for them.

^^ Agreed

But the thing is, I'm lower than you are and my exhaust has plenty of clearance. There has to be some other way of getting the pipes to sit up higher.
