hmmmm here's my opinion. I think those would be wayyyy too overboard for a mostly stock z with stock tips. Imo, to successfully pull that look off, u will need a lot of supporting visual mods. Else, the tips alone will come off as cheesy and trying too hard to get attention for the wrong reasons.

hah, i think ill be okay. Mar car looks far from stock as far as the visual mods are concerned.

The tips will also match my wheels/headlights/lip

There will be tips made available for the slip-on exhausts. Are there any more that anyone is aware of?

I appreciate all the feedback and help from all of you. A lot of the information you all are providing is helping me make these available to the Z community. It's also got me making a few different versions (mounting options). I believe that two to three different mounting options will allow for almost anyone to be able to install these...with varying degrees of difficulty, of course. Econ's doing the most difficult. Looking forward to the pics and review.

Thanks for the explaination. Love these tips... Great job! If you can make one that slips onto the HKS exhaust tips, I'll buy it asap!

It doesn't look like those slip on, so they would require the cut and weld. The ones for the ARK system are also designed to slip over 2-1/2" (63.5mm) tubing, while the others are 2-3/8" (60mm) tubing (including the HKS pipe). Once we get Econ's on and documented, I'll build and release version 2. If I can't figure out how to kill two birds with one stone, then there will also be a version 3. One will be clamp fit, one will be just like Econs...weld on.

The HKS system has a slip on titanium tip that's adjustable in how far it protrudes out the rear bumper. It goes completely outside the inner tip.

hm...let me PM you something...

Alex

Yea, I will most probably be selling it (after 6 months of ownership). Need to buy a house soon, and my Z cant tow the boat I want to buy next april.

just need to have 1 vehicle that can do it all. Sucks, i love my car.
