Just like any other bolt on mod by itself, it would not be required. But it would be suggested that you do. And if you do several bolt ons, it would be highly suggested.

some bolt ons throw the cars AFR out of whack and as a result it'll drive like crap, I know with enough bolt ons this will cause such, and a tune will not only be "suggested" but it'll also be required also adding additional power.
Now to restate me question, I am unfamiliar with the VQ engines, and i don't know what their tendencies nor to what extent they begin to be picky. Will this IM and a set of HFCs require a tune right off the bat in order to function properly? IE car will drive normally, with a bit more oomph of course. |
