Germany Rollcall!!
Those that live in Germany (i know there are a few on this forum; 74 to be exact) where are you located? It is early but this could help set up a meet.
I'm stationed in Mannheim 3 months left of Iraq and I have my Z  on the autobahn (US Spec) |
Hi Asheth,
so I think here is #75 (at least). Im one of those who are still dreaming see a 370 live in Germany. I'm looking forward to buy a shortterm used Zetti within the next 2 years.... So count me to the "German-Team"... I'm working for GE/Navair and I'm located north of munich. |
Hi Guys,
i'm the next who lives in Germany, at the moment I'm living near Dortmund. It's really hard to wait for the arrival of the Z in Germany when you see all the cars here. But I had the chance to take a look at the race Z on the Nürburgring. http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/1373/img3127kld.th.jpg |
What's up crazies? I'm located in the far west, nearly in Luxembourg in the oldest Deutsch city of Trier. Why do you ask? Do you think a Z meet is feasible? We just have to get the other 70 people to sign up and we'll figure it out. I have two months left here in Iraq, and hopefully my Z will be in Spangdahlem when I fly home.

I'm back.
I've downgraded to a Z33 since my quote for Z34 insurance in Deutschland was just unfeasible! I still love the car, though. Mine should arrive in mid-September as well. Let's plan something now so we can get our Z on. How about the end of October? At that point, most of us who are waiting on our Nissans will have them in hand. More specifically, I think Halloween would be a good time, too. Location? I think Rammstein or so is good. It sounds like a few of us might be very close that part of Deutschland. We can shift further east, too, if that would help our roll call increase. Word. -Clay |

How much where you quoted for and with who? If it was USAA you are right it is high did you check with AIG? I think Ramstein is a good choice for a meet Halloween is a great date. There is already one Z34 there. There are a few Z33 there but have to go to that other site my350z to those guys. |

not exaclty what i wanted but i didnt had much of a choice... could spare the birdview..and would also prefer black leather, but i was impatient...and didnt want to wait a couple of months. at least the color was the one i wanted :yum: i like the car pretty much:tup: i owned the 350Z a few years ago and well...the 370Z is just so much better..:owned: |

NISSAN Deutschland: Händler-Suche and enter "Mannheim" into the search field. Looks like you have to invest a 30-min driving radius to get a decent selection... Check those dealers´ homepages or call ahead before going there, some might be a Renault-Nissan combo like you said, others might be only garages and no sales-points... |
Damn you guys are lucky to be over there :(

Ok, so after reviewing the posts here, it looks like this is who we have so far as well as their rough location.
Asheth - Mannheim Delpozzo - Mannheim NeticZyo - Ramstein Billygoatgag - Trier Sebastiank - Dortmund 370zwolf - Erding Dan - Muenchen Dav - Italia I organized them according to proximity from the others. The highest concentration looks like it's in the Mannheim/Ramstein/Kaiserslautern area. I know Dortmund/Koeln aren't really that far from there either, but it isn't a 30-minute drive either. -Clay |
Just curious do any of you go to football matches? Koeln guys should be excited with Podolski.
|
I can't believe Podolski left BM! Ahhhh!

and Podolski left because his heart is in Köln...true love. YouTube - 1. FC Köln - 1. Looks like I will be driving to Bremerhaven to pick up my car. It will save me 2 weeks. 2 weeks is a long time to wait knowing my car is there lol.
so 6 hours train up 5 hours and 30 min back!! Well i did that in my eclipse gotta be easy on the Z from bremerhaven. But will be fun trip!! Now just have to wait for the car to ship from the states |
What´s up, Asheth, has your car arrived?

370z meet in Ramstein?
I am down for a meet in Ramstein. I won't have my z for a while though. I am deploying in December and it will be here when I get back! can't ******* wait! Keep me updated on a meet. Later
|
Well by this time next week I will be driving my Z finally. Arrived here in Germany and scheduled for me to go pick it up on Tuesday! 8 Long Months is finally over! With that being said, how are we looking for the Halloween meet?
|
sweet!
Lucky mother fu$%er! Did you order yours from the Auto Exchange in Mannheim? US spec right? How much did you get it for out the door? Where are we going to do this meet? Ramstein?
|
Quote:
Yes US spec. OTD was $41,000 I went fully loaded. I will be picking it up tomorrow 8 hours to Bremerhaven by train 5 hours of enjoyment back home! |
Oh and I think Ramstein sounds good. I know on Saturdays guys meet at chilis there with there cars. Not 370z but all types
|
I´m sorry to say, but I won´t make it up there on Halloween.
Gotta work shift over the whole weekend. For future meets, I suggest the car/aviation/technics museums at Speyer and Sinsheim as meeting points and fitting sightseeing destinations. Both worth a drive to and both located in central Germany. Auto und Technik MUSEUM SINSHEIM / Technik MUSEUM SPEYER |
Ramstein
Don't forget that Ramstein has a new BX/PX that is a mall! We could meet outside the gate if there are local nationals that want to meet up and we can go there? Just a thought?
|
Have you guys been to that mall yet? I know someone who was there right after it opened, sounded pretty cool.
|
ME!
I have been there. I actually am stationed at Ramstein so I go there for a lot of stuff. It is pretty nice. It's like being in a small mall in the states. They have all kinds of **** in there too! It blows any other BX/PX out of the water!
Here is a link for the KMCC "BX/PX" at Ramstein. http://www.ramstein.af.mil/kmcc.asp |
No I haven't been there yet. Heard it is nice though. Sounds like a good place to meet.
