You cannot have tint on the side or windshield at all. It is against Germany law and USAFE rules. You will not pass vehicle inspection with tint on your car. That is why you should buy pre-cut tint on ebay for the sides if you really want it. I have been here since 2006 and I have never had any issues so far.
