What's to worship here? 267 whp for a claimed 332 crank hp is pretty low. And what about the +21% drivetrain loss (56.8 hp)? This is a RWD car, not an AWD. It must have been a unit with very low miles or a very conservative Mustang dyno. I'd be very upset with such numbers.

just my .2 c

All you Germans and those stationed in Germany might want to take a look at this:-

Apparently there's a similar event in Cologne in February

animal_solo 04-03-2010 03:58 PM

Stuttgart, Germany

Silver 09 370Z sports package, Megan coilovers. Awaiting for Stillen oil cooler, Stillen Gen 3 CAI, and FI exhaust w/ 18" resonators, should have them around mid Oct.

Holliday 08-23-2010 08:21 AM

we should bring this thread back up and make a meet!

I will be living in Germany early next year. I'll be living around Spangdahlem AB. Can't wait to get there.

I have a question that keeps coming to me, how dark can the tint on my windows be? I've heard that due to German law and inspection regulations they can have you take it off.

As far as i know you cant have any tint on the front windows or windshield i have seen some dark tint on the back windows but i don't know if there's a limit to how dark it can be...

Holliday 08-29-2010 11:33 AM

Window tint percentage does not have any limit. You cannot have tint on the side or windshield at all. It is against Germany law and USAFE rules. You will not pass vehicle inspection with tint on your car.

That is why you should buy pre-cut tint on ebay for the sides if you really want it. I have been here since 2006 and I have never had any issues so far. You can view my profile and see how dark my tint is ;)

370Zwolf 08-31-2010 12:31 AM

Correct. In Germany, the 370Z can only have tint on the back hatch window and the two small side windows behind the doors.

Capt Morgan 09-25-2010 10:56 AM

Any meets being planned?

Corona370z 02-02-2011 04:28 PM

Hey guys just bumping this thread up as I will be heading over there in like a few weeks. Unfortunately, it'll be a while until my car gets there...

Wrenise 02-09-2011 04:59 PM

Hope to see you around when mine finally gets here. 4 more months to go.

Corona370z 03-08-2011 01:56 PM

Made it to Germany and waiting anxiously for my Z to arrive!

Wrenise 03-10-2011 01:03 AM

Have you tracked it on their website?

Also, I just went to the Nissan dealer and ordered the German front plate holder. I suggest doing the same so they vehicle reg will give you a long plates front and back. Anything to make the car look more like a German owns it the less you will get vandalized.

Corona370z 03-10-2011 03:24 PM

I have tracked it but it still says its in Brunswick, Ga Port. I am hoping that means that its on the boat and on its way. I will try to head to the closest Nissan dealer (Trier I think) and order it. Thanks for the info and head's up for the plates.

Corona370z 03-18-2011 09:05 AM

My Z is here! So I'm bumping up the thread to see if anyone else is around.

FricFrac 03-18-2011 07:14 PM

I'm heading to Kiel for a course and hopefully into Berlin for the weekend. So if you see some crazy Canuck waving at ya don't say you weren't warned ;)

animal_solo 03-19-2011 03:41 AM

I head back to work on monday so I sure you will see me around.

Cool! Yea i took my car for a spin today and it was running great until this problem happened. :shakes head:

Still driving on base, jut really slow.

animal_solo 03-20-2011 03:31 AM

Damn that sucks!! The nearest dealership is at Römerstraße 47, Wittlich. Talk to the salesman on the floor unless you speak German, he has translated for me a few times.

Corona370z 03-20-2011 08:58 AM

Yea but after reading some replies and an older post by AK, I just reset the ECU and its all good now . So my car is back to normal, seems like it was on limp mode.

Corona370z 04-08-2011 07:04 AM

OMG so I finally took my car to get inspected and come to find out that the exhaust is 4cm too low...Gotta find a way to fix it.

Wrenise 04-09-2011 01:09 PM

Did you ship your stock exhaust?

animal_solo 04-10-2011 11:19 AM

We ended up swapping my stock out with his ARK. Hope you dont mind but you exhaust just made two laps at the ring without you. I really dont want to go back to the stock CBE after this weekend.

Wrenise 04-10-2011 01:20 PM

LOL!!!!

I would make him pay to get it back!!

Would love to cruise with you guys after my family visits.

Make sure you pay for the 2 year registration, then you dont have to deal with it until 2013 :)

Corona370z 04-11-2011 05:41 AM

I did get it inspected today and it passed. I definitely got the two year registration. The guy barely looked at it since it was stock. I don't mind you took it to the track. Glad you had your fun but I want mine back, this stock is too quiet.

So I found out the Auto Hobby closes at 7 last clean up has to be at 630. So sometime this week we gotta take the cars in and switch it back out. BTW glad to have given you a little teaser

ww77 05-07-2011 03:41 AM

New in Germany

My 370 should be here in about a month. Hope this thread picks up by that time. Living 20 min north of Ramstein. Hope to see you guys around.

kevr6 05-08-2011 06:09 PM

I'm down here in Munich for the remainder of the week!! I'll be popping online in the evenings.

Corona370z 05-11-2011 12:49 PM

ww77, Welcome! Good to hear another Z member is coming to Germany. I've been in and out of the country due to TDYs. I typically don't get too far from Spang, if I do I take someone else's car. I do this for two reasons, 1-gas is getting expensive(I knew it when I bought the car) and 2-With no oil cooler and the days getting hotter I hate having my engine at those high temps.

Kevr6 Have fun in Munich, I've never been but plan too pretty soon.

So far I've had a great time!! The Autobahn driving being the highlight!! AUDI knows how to take care of there reps!! Now my wife just landed and I'll have to go find her!!

Corona370z 05-12-2011 05:16 AM

The autobahn is awesome! However it never fails that when I am driving there is always a station wagon of some sort passing me...personally I think they are just trying to overcompensate for something.

Wrenise 05-12-2011 02:37 PM

That's because all these station wagons have turbo diesels in them and they have a top speed of 30000000kph.

So, stay to the right when you see a station wagon or they will run you over!!

Yea, you aren't kidding. When they pass it's not like a few miles an hour they are flying! I'll be doing like 80-90 mph and I know they have to be hitting the 110+ mark. *Side note* I find it kind of ridiculous how most people here will use anything to tow something. You got this Fiat Punto trying to pull something a little bigger than it is.
