Z-Club in Germany

Is there a Z-Club for all of us here in Germany?

Mozen 11-21-2011 06:50 AM

Not sure, I just got here tho and i know there are now 3 Zs (mine included) in the Ansbach - Illesheim area. Ill send you a PM with my cell #. My Z should get here sometime this month but it depends on the shipper.

Kenny 11-21-2011 02:18 PM

A bit off topic..

Mozen, are you shipping your Z from the states to Germany? Out of curiosity, are you with the military? How much is it going to cost?

ww77 11-24-2011 05:11 PM

Only had my Z for a week in country before I had I to leave. I'll be back in March time frame. I live in the K-town area. We need to set something up to swamp Z RING. See you when I get back.

To Kenny, I had mine shipped from the states and it cost about $1900. That is with trucking to the port in the US and all the port fees. I am military so I think I was exempt from import taxes.

chrisbeltre 03-11-2012 04:02 PM

No Z clubs in Germany but they are a few car clubs that you all can join. I have a Z as well, I'm in the Graff area and belong to AE Motorsports. If you guys want a list of some of the clubs in the area let me know. Also, if anyone is close to Nuremburg go and check out Street Culture season opening.

FireDan50 03-11-2012 04:03 PM

I'm not in Germany, but right next door in Belgium :) I go to Ramstein/Spang almost every month.

chrisbeltre 03-11-2012 08:22 PM

Any clubs in Belgium bro?

FireDan50 03-12-2012 07:17 AM

Thats a big NO :( Not too many Americans here or people really into cars.

DLSTR 03-16-2012 02:49 PM

Hi im Dave in Stuttgart. Im up for some Z fun. The street event(s) in Nuremburg sound interesting. Next weekend here in Stuttgart is the Retro Classics at the Messe at Stuttgart Airport. Worth the drive for this show. Its huge and has all manner of nice/classic/sports cars. Most of the manufacturers here(Porsche and Mercedes) have classic and new car displays as well.
Check out Meilenwerk in Boblingen for an amazing display of exotics and car related retail.

Meilenwerk English Summary | Meilenwerk - Scroll down to the Stuttgart tab.

RETRO CLASSICS, Die ganze Welt automobiler Klassiker, Messe Stuttgart: Die Messe

Ive also just put on new Michelin pilot super sports on the car today.
The OEM Bridgestone's that came off only have 4500 or miles on them. I will be putting them up for sale soon. I will post pics tomorrow and the price will be 450$.

Cheers,

Dave

Tunning Day

Hey for all of you Z drivers in Germany. On May 13 will be the 2nd AE Motorsports International Tunning day. Last year was big and this year will be better, lots of sponsors Alpine to name one. Also there is Reisbrennen - This is a German Race Wars type on steriods. It is mainly for Japanese cars. If you have one, you can come in the Motor Arena. If you don't have a Jap car, you have to park your car outside the Arena. I highly encourage you guys to make it there. It's towards Berlin.

Mozen 04-06-2012 02:46 PM

Just to revive an older thread here but if anyone is in Graf over the next two weeks ill be up there for SAMMC, just let me know.

I got :excited: once I saw this, so I went to their facebook page and invited myself. Hopefully, my car is out of the shop by then.

chrisbeltre 04-24-2012 09:55 AM

Any of you guys know any good tuning shop for our Z's here in Germany? I want to get that M370 Intake Manifold, but I want to get it done at a shop.

I've been looking for a place as well. I know there is a shop in Frankfurt that is a licensed Uprev dealer. I haven't been up there as my car hasn't made it yet but i plan on checking it out once it does.

Their website shows them having a lot of tuning components and options so it might be pretty legit.

Do you have a link to this website, kind of interested myself.

chrisbeltre 05-21-2012 05:51 AM

Website

Yeah, if you dont mind. I also found 2 new shops near me. One is mostly exterior work. I'll post the phone and address in case you guys are interested. They had a nice and clean 350Z at my clubs tunning day.

Here you go! :: quantumautosport.com :: More than fast and furious! is the one in Frankfurt.

I just noticed this place off of the Uprev site CTD-Germany - Exclusive Car Tuning & Development; Nissan 350Z, Nissan 370Z, Nissan GT-R, Chrysler Crossfire, Mazda RX-8 it's in english!!! It's in Rheinburg near the Netherlands. It would be a bit of a drive from Illisheim but it looks like they focus on Jap imports. It's just more drive time!

chrisbeltre 05-21-2012 03:52 PM

Prices

Man, we can get all of this things cheaper from the states minus the body kit. You guys have a shipt to APO account??

Corona370z 05-22-2012 04:47 AM

Some website ship APO like Z1motorsports.com and THMotorsports.com If you talk to the sponsors on the forum sometimes they have deals for forum members. Shipping is still up a little but its not too bad. Personally, if they can ship APO it's better for me because waiting til I get back is just too far out.

pwrhsms 05-22-2012 11:58 AM

I agree the parts are way cheaper from the states. I was more interested if they have a dyno and know how to tune with the uprev software. I also plan on FI this winter and I'm not sure if I want to tackle that project at the local auto hobby shop. I would like to find a shop that does that kind of install even if I don't buy it from them.

Corona370z 05-23-2012 02:01 AM

I was thinking FI as well but I was going to wait til I got back to the states. I think it's a little more convenient and I have a little more trust being stateside. People don't want to get fired over there so they'll do a good job

pwrhsms 05-24-2012 10:17 AM

I just don't wanna wait that long. I'm looking at another 5 years here and it would kill me to get beat by a station wagon on the autobahn.

chrisbeltre 05-24-2012 12:27 PM

I'll be staying NA, I like reliability. My brother had a bad *** supra, but there was always something breaking. It required a lot of attention.

I'm a fan of making sure its done right and not pushing it to the level it can handle. So if I FI then I only boost to what I know it can handle without breaking all the time. If I want more I will have to upgrade appropriately. If I want more after stage 1 FI then I think I will just upgrade to the GTR as I will be into this car more than what a GTR would cost anyway.

DanohKeo 08-29-2012 01:11 AM

Hey what's up everyone! New to the forum, going to pick up my Z next week if I pass this damn driving test. Based here on Grafenwohr

Tail Light tint

Hey can you have any percent tint on your taillights in germany? I bout to be sending mine to Graff area and i want to tint my taillights.

busa37z 03-03-2013 02:04 PM

Dont know bout tailights but just picked up my baby in Stuttgart and had to take tint of windows for safety insp. Check with your pov inspection station, cuz you dont want to get fined by polizei.

DanohKeo 03-20-2013 04:08 PM

busa37z...

My wife and I were in Garmisch-Partenkirchen during Christmas 2011. We really loved the area and can't wait to go back. In 2006, we were in Oberramergau among other areas in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland. These European Christmas Markets are becoming our favorite things to do for vacation. I think next time, we will travel to Northern Germany as we've not been there yet.

I understand about the weather; I live in Cleveland, OH and there is still snow on the ground as of this morning. I can't wait for the weather to become warmer as I haven't driven the Z since last October.

busa37z 03-31-2013 02:57 PM

Yes its very nice here and I really like it a lot. Looking forward to better weather so I can do some serious travel. Been all over northern Germany and its not like down here. Still snowing here but hopefully after Easter it will clear up.

chrisbeltre 04-11-2013 05:02 PM

I'm in Vilseck I'll be at Street Culture on the 19.

ww77 04-14-2013 11:05 AM

If any of yall are down near Ansbach let me know, more than happy to meet up. I can PM you my cell.

Corona370z 04-29-2013 05:51 PM

So I'm coming up to get my Z rein specter and they wouldn't pass cuz the exhaust sits 3cm too low...Did any of you have any issues? My car passed last time. I unfortunately don't have my stock exhaust with me and was wondering if any of you did? I'll be willing to buy for a reasonable price, s*** rent it to pass inspection. That is if you're close to Spangdahlem

busa37z 05-04-2013 03:07 PM

Corona just had mine inspected, and I have fast intentions exhaust did not have any issues with inspection station. If your Z is lowered then it may be an issue but I have stock sport suspension.

Would help you out but my hhg wont be arriving till July sometime.
