Master cylinder

Anyone know of any company that is going to produce an aftermarket mastrer cylinder, only one i know in existence is a custom one done by gtm on 1slow370z car.

Nope. The few have been one-offs. Alstann (?) homebrewed a DIY one, but that's about it. Both Z1 and Specialty Z offered me one, but then walked it back when they realized it would only fit a 350.

The quickest way to ruin a Clutch master cylinder is to let it run dry on fluid. If the CSC goes out (leaks out the fluid), this is what causes the master cylinder to die an early death. If you keep it full of fluid, it may be OK. I have also not heard of one person catching the fluid leak from the CSC before it goes out. On the older cars you would get a tail tail sign of this by a wet spot on the ground. Since the CSC is in the bell housing, good luck getting that visual aid.

it happened to me - had to top up the reservoir every 2 weeks but there was no visible leak
anywhere. odd thing is the dealer said they saw no leak inside the bell housing and said that my clutch was not contaminated. So who knows where the fluid went....
