need help z wont start
First let me say I searched ALOT
Pulled the fuse on steering lock a year ago. The battery was good, it is undersized but I've not had a problem. The store did give me a new one. And I tried jumping it. EVERYTHING works in ACC solenoid clicks when button is pushed ??????????? Any ideas? Thanks

It sounds like you may not be getting power to the starter. Bang on the starter relay/solenoid with a screwdriver handle or similar and see if you can get it started.

IIRC, there is a fusible link at the battery. FSM has wiring info (schematics, diagrams, color codes, harness routing, &c).

Bad ground, make sure the starter ground is seriously torqued, umm check if u get power going to the starter, always bring a friend to help u never do it alone, when u crank still no power going to the starter, pull fuse and relay check for defectiveness and broken solenoid teeth.

Check and make sure you have power coming out of the relay and going to the starter.
Edit: Start at one end (the battery is a good place) and work your way to the starter. Check voltage at each connection/fuse/relay along the way.

SouthArk370z is right u have to follow the wire and find the problem, if u do not find the problem, then its the battery it self might give enough juice to turn electronics on, but wouldn't turn over(i suggest a boost from a friend at this point) or ur ecu has prob. But its very unlikely although not impossible.

IIRC, the starter circuit has more than one relay in it. FSM will tell you for sure.

The starter motor may be jammed up which would probably blow the fusible link.

Edit: BTW, most PDF readers will allow you search multiple documents at once. Put all the FSM files in a folder and tell your reader to search that folder. Diagnostic procedure starts on page STR-9. Edit 2: Yep. Shows a 10A in the "J/B" Oops. Mis-read diagram. There is no fusible link that I can see. Go figure.

Check fuse for fuel pump.
After that I can only assume either the "undersized" battery doesn't have enough cranking amps or something is interfering with the battery terminal making good contact. I guess check alternator, but that shouldn't stop it from turning over.
