Default Loud click noise from rear, when shifting park to reverse or drive in auto 370Z

Can some one pin point what my issue is?? I've been searching online and through the forums and can't really figure out what it is when ever I shift into drive or reverse on my 09 Auto 370Z. I hear a loud click noise coming from the rear of the car whenever I shift my Auto Z from park to reverse or park to drive. The 370 drives fine but the loud click noise is bugging me every time I shift gears. Sometimes the click pops up when I'm coming to a stop at a light. I heard it might be the axle that needs some grease???? Brakes?? Thanks for your help.
