DE.50 is probably right if the sound is a click and you don't feel it. If it's more of a thunk/thud that you can feel, then I start looking at

DE.50 is probably right if the sound is a click and you don't feel it. If it's more of a thunk/thud that you can feel, then I start looking at u-joints. Jordo! has some good suggestions (they tend to make click sounds) but they are a bit lower on my list of possibilities - I'd check those things if it's not axle grease or a u-joint.
