first-time fuel starvation. talk about a mood killer
 

First time I let my tank get down to 2 lights, thought nothing of it. On one of my regular roads I felt like pushing a little harder than normal. Quickly realized just how freaking fast these cars can take a corner without a hint of tire chirp. Harder I pushed the more it seemed I had. Great!! Big grin, pedal to the floor, no response. VDC? No... wait.. power steering gone. ****. RPMs, nada. Wait, push clutch and press start?! Pull over, car says 45 miles to empty and 0 leds. Crankcrankcrank nothing.... I killed my Z!! :icon14:

And I thought my insane day was over... silly me. Crossing fingers, hopefully (feels wrong saying this) just a case of fuel starvation.

yep fuel starvation. but some gas in it.

Waiting for my free delivery of 3 gallons of petrol. Gotta love roadside.

To top it off im stuck on a pretty hefty incline with no flat ground in sight. Hope 3 gallons hits the spot!! P.S. tried cranking it 3 times and now my battery is dead :shakes head:

just stop just don't touch it anymore. and yeah 3 gallons should do it it fills from the pump side of the tank.

Not a whole lot to do with a dead battery, but I guess I should stop beating on the engine block with that thar crowbar. Figerd id get the stuck fuel loosened up.

see how many cars you can flip off before one stops to yell at you or something. Or just call your roadside like every 30seconds.

Lol so far ive had a state trooper and local cop pass by without glancing. Im off one of the 3 busiest roads in our quaint little town... bastards. Fuel should arrive in 5 minutes... anticipation is killing me. Hah! Almost as bad as I killed my car -_-

Hahaha nice. Tank full, battery charged, made it home. Notch on my belt. Now I know... don't let it get under 3 leds.

Very tempted..... but push starting doesnt do much if the gas aint pumpin!

You can take it real low... just the lower you go, the more you want to avoid hard right hand turns. But a left turn, thats a different story... go as fast as you want if its to the left.

Do we have a fix for this?

The S1 RFS wont help fuel starvation from cornering. Its intended to increase delivery to the rails for increased HP, but doesnt add anything to assist fluid control in the tank.

If you see a MB Nismo with a gas can bungee corded to the back wing, it will be me...:)
