Im just curious, since your budget and engine was open why you didn't go for stroker to get the most out of it?

If the TB are holding the engine back, take a peek at these:

Fly-by-Wire Throttle Bodies, AT Power Online Shop

Finished installing my wide band and oil gauge, temporarily mounted in the cubby until i get a 3rd gauge and put them in the triple cluster. will get pics up later, brake pads on order, rear 305/30-19 RS3's reserved for the track. Car has been running good.

Very nice. What pads did you go with?

Had to cancel my brake pad order, in stock turned into 8 weeks :shakes head:

Edit: just for clarification pads were purchased from a shop on ebay.

im not trying to be negative here so stay with me...1/4 trap SPEED is nice to see true HP because if you take an object from point A to point B from 0-113 mph you can ONLY do that if you have XXX HP right? simple physics right?

now stock these are 270-280hp with 105-106 mph traps. you have 100 more HP than stock but only doing 113 mph. to me one of these numbers is very very off no?

G37Sam 11-16-2014 05:36 AM

The GTR makes 540 hp and traps around 120mph give or take. Going from 105 to 113 mph is a major improvement IMO, and as the OP mentioned, with a few more runs/grip he would've definitely seen an improvement.

I'd love to see a few runs with stickier tires!

that looks spot on too!! 3700 lbs car with driver and 540 hp should trap around 120 mph.

id guess OP is around 3400 lbs with driver. at 371 rwhp and with these cars having around 17.5% drive train loss, thats 450hp. trap should be around 118 mph but its not. traps at the moment are showing about 330 rwhp or 400hp.

Agreed. Trap is a little low, but there are many factors deciding that I suppose.

Well I need to correct myself. They are actually not that far off because OP was in STD on the dyno. If you take SAE corrections then figure things like weather, tires etc 113 is about what he should be doing.
