Los Angeles recommendations for speedshop?

Who does work out in Los Angeles on the Zs? Who's got the best rep and who's really reliable? Generally, I like to pick one shop and stick to it for everything I can.

I recommend Corner3garage in lake forest awesome service very intimate in terms of communication and honesty. Outstanding work and craftmanship not to mention they have built a good amount of z's and have a very loyal client base because of their service.

What are you looking to get done? If you're looking to get a turbo build or something of the like, then I'd stick to one shop like GTM, mentioned above, but for little things, I'd just shop around for the cheapest vendor, which would mostly likely be online.
Checking the my350Z forums will give you an idea of established shops and vendors, but they mostly likely will be migrating over here anyhow. |

Yeah, seems GTM is likely the best place to get the work done.
I'm looking to do twin-turbo. I don't want more than 500whp but I know I'll be capable of more later with that setup. I also want to do some suspension work too. But I won't know how much suspension I want done until I get the car. As soon as I'm done with some work I've been dealing with for the past 2 months, I'm going to go pick up a Z. I got about 1 more month until I'm done. (Until then, I'm not leaving my house other than to get to the gym.)

Awesome. I've been keeping up on your turbo threads. I'm sure that when I'm ready to buy, you'll have your kits ready. I'm not sure if I want to go with stronger internals. I'm pretty sure I do since I DO love to put the peddle through the floor sometimes, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. If I do upgrade the bottom end, I may decide to add a "hidden" NOS kit, if you guys can handle that.

We can handle just about anything you can think of
I would recommend sticking with the stock block at around 450rwhp for a while, then build it later if you decide. Doing it all at once could add up, not to mention increase down time. You would be impressed with how well this block is constructed, very similar to GT-R but not the same... -George GT Motorsports |

I'd be very happy with 450 to the ground.
Help me out (so I have a game plan): Besides the turbos, I'd need injectors, turbo timer (I know that's optional, but I want one!), FMU, tune, FPR(?), and the labor... Got an idea of what I should be looking at $ wise?
