I didn't want to chance that one; 5yrs. From the build date/ got me a good ol' Red Top Optima...I have had very good results from these & plenty of power.

Damn, 1.3lbs?! I need to drop 99lbs for class limit. My battery now is 11ish i believe and for an ATV or something and has been a great DD and even long term storage for 3.5years now. 10lbs is 10lbs.

I've used Shorai Lithium Batteries before. They work great as long as you drive the car regularly or have on a trickle charger. They are super light.
