Incase somebody doesnt know what im talking about, its the noise you hear when the car is sitting still. Noise goes away when pressing on the clutch and then when you let off the noise comes back.

Is anybody else having this issue? is this suppose to be normal? because supposly the clunky shifting **** is normal but thats pissing me off as well.
Throw out bearing

Yes.....I've had lots f Audi buddies replace their heavy dual mass flywheels with solid billet lightweight versions only to get LOTS of gear rattle..

The break point on at the audi's, when putting in a new (one piece) flywheel seems to be 17lb. That or heavier and the noise is minimal, a 12lb aluminum will rattle your fillings..

Does anyone care to explain? I think I did a fairly decent job explaining why it is NOT the throwout bearing. The blatant contradictions with absolutely nothing to back it up... doesn't do much for me.

Do you guys even now how clutches and transmissions work? If so, let's hear it!

Seems like modshack knows what's up..
