Default Should I change the oil?

Hi everyone. First a brief intro... I ordered my 370 and it was shipped to me via container(I am not in the US). It took around 60 days for the container to reach me. I got it with 18 on the odo. However, since it was not started for 60 days I can imagine that all the oil should have settled at the bottom of the engine. Now I can imagine metal against metal scraping when it was first started. Am I correct? Should I change the oil out or will it be fine?

Thanks again!

Apologies for the thread title. For some reason I pressed something in the middle of writing and it posted.

Does anyone know how to change the thread title? I was going to write "Should I change my oil?".

thanks!

It will be a while before a mod strolls in but if you send AK a msg, he will likely change it pretty quick.

The car should be fine synthetic oil sticks the engine surfaces better than conventional oil.

There is a little bit of a dry start but the 5w30 will flow to the parts quickly. I wouldn't worry about it. Even if you changed the oil, it wouldn't touch enough parts. Think about how small the oil fill is. Once the oil is poured in, it will just touch the top of one of the cam lobes then, drain down to the pan, where the oil is currently.

I would not add any oil to an already full engine. Overfilling the engine could ruin it.
