revving engine in 1st gear?

It's not that i think revving the engine causes significant damage, just that randomly doing it makes you a douche, take the person for quick spin if they want to

heehee Newer cars idle so smoothly that I like to give the throttle a little blip every now and then (but not close to redline) just to make sure it's still running. I'm Old Skool and like my idle a little lumpy.
