very interested in what the pros that know more about our gas tank and the internals think?

this looks like a decent option tho.
just gotta figure out what the inside of the tank is like to see how the mat would lay or best place to magnet it down. also you can use 2 mats, one on either side with a T fitting

EDIT:
seems there is already info on the form saying this wont really work without a ton a custom modification.

There is a thread on this already. And most think that it will not work with our fuel system.

yeah I just read them too, looks like u have to get a fuel pump and a lot of custom work.
not impossible tho
