CSC popped on me at 19k

Yep doing the on ramp boogie going home from work last Friday shift from 2nd to 3 rd felt the release/ pop thru the pedal and then had about 1/4 of the pedal movement left. I still had just enough to still shift to limp it home.

Welcome to the club. Luckily a factory CSC isn't too bad, $100 IIRC. But then you have to drop the transmission and flush the system. ugh. I ended up replacing the MC at the same time.

Did you have any signs of the CSC about to give out? I have 31K on my 09 Z *knock on wood* and haven't had a problem yet

No warning at all. Figured i have to drop the trans so i have the SZ Street Max ordered. I figured might as well upgrade everything at once.

Best way to do it!

Everyone I know that had their CSC fail, whether it be a 07-08 350Z or a 370Z, it failed little to no warning.

My MC failed once I upgraded the clutch + CSC. About 40k miles later the CSC was starting to fail, but this one was the aftermarket one.

Question for you that have had the CSC and/or the MC. I see alot of posts saying to go ahead and do the MC at the same time. Has anyone just gotten the MC rebuild kit for 18 bucks or is it not worth it?
