I think i am one of the 1 or 2 that had some issues Phunk spoke about. In hindsight i know i could get this done in 6 hrs or less. It is one if not the best mods you can do if you like the track or dodging cones.

Phunk helped me out via text or phone call on several occasions when i had my issues. for the CJM RRP

I had the issue on a track at 10 minutes/2 gallons on every right...both low speed and high. Had the issue on an autocross event with less but more of what I was expecting.

So far no one has told me my experience is abnormal on a track. :/

If anyone knows any pros please point them to this thread. I'd love to know how they deal with it because you can't tell me they race for 10 minutes then take on fuel and tires.

So far, the only other solution that has been applied is a custom fuel cell to eliminate the factory fuel tank.

I dont think what you are describing is anormal. For me if i started a session with anyrhing less than 2 dots from full i would fuel starve towards the end of the session. Track config plays a big part as well. I figured any right hander of .7 g or more was when i would get it. I would think this is compounded as far as how long it takes to start because of your setup. Your flowing fuel at a greater rate than i am.

My 2 cents...if i had invested 15 to 20k in FI i wouldnt blink a eye to solve fueling issues for another 1200 bucks and some of my time.

Thanks Rangerz. I agree and will. It's just that it wasn't on my radar. Now I have to decide to get my car reveal ready and miss early year track days or get it track ready and put off the reveal. Not sure I can swing both this winter after spending so much this year.

We have a small track (test track) here in Switzerland.
New road surface and super grip Level

The yellow arrow shows the direction of travel

The red arrow indicates the point at which the "Z" starts to stutter (starvation)
(Full acceleration after the very long left curve (approximately 0.8 G-Force) and just before the braking point)

This happened to me even at half full tank
With a full tank no problem

I hope I could describe it properly

Greetings

No, Sebring turn 17 is a fast big bumpy U turn between the back and front straight that my Z is around 60 and if I don't have a full tank it hits me every time when I get in the gas. My friend was on my butt in a supercharged Z06 and its so bad he thought I jumped off the gas to brake check him without the lights. He was mad until I told him what it was.

Funny you say that, I just started looking for a new DD to keep the miles off my track car.

most shops aren't either, for the same reasons. best to do it slow yourself, and do it right.
