Mileage? Tranny temp?
Hey guys! I just purchased a sport touring 370z and I was wondering what is the average mileage that these engines can handle? Is it normal for tranny temp to be between 180 and 220 for normal driving? The car has 450 miles on it. Thanks!

Completely normal and don't buy into the hype about oil coolers especially if this is your daily driver. Btw I'm pretty sure you already have an oil cooler that comes standard from the factory.

tranny temp?
btw these things will run all day long as a daily driver. The best thing Nissan can do on the next gen is to get rid of the oil temp gauge so folks quit worrying about it and spend their money on better ****. |

OP, sit down in a nice easy chair and read your owner's manual, slowly, cover-to-cover. You will learn what all the guages and warning lights are for and the information they are displaying. Btw, there isn't a guage for tranny temp. That gauge is for engine oil temp. |
2014 ones got tranny temp gauge?

If you meant engine oil temp, you're doing very well if you stay below 220. I can get up to 240 on a hot Summer day in traffic. A few miles at highway speed and temps are back to normal. |
I get the VQ family of engine coming and going through my shop regularly, many of which have hit very high mileages and are still great engines. Its the older "knockoff" VG engines and the like that turn to crap. The VQ series are very reliable motors.
