Low Oil Pressure Light? Help please!
 

2010 Nismo I got this light for the first time today got an oil change about 2k miles ago sitting at 42k miles now. Looked in the manual all it says is its a low oil pressure indication and to pull over imediately shut off engine and check oil. Oil level is sitting a little below H line after letting the car sit for an hour... Anyone know what this means and what I should do besides take it to the Stealership?

Isn't this just a reminder you can set yourself? Not really telling you anything. Go through the menu and check if it's passed the limit that was set for it. For example, I set mine for 4k and the message pops up right at 4k. its a reminder

lol this is just a maintenance reminder the oil lamp light is on the tach.

As others have said, it's just a reminder to change your oil. Dealer should have reset it when you got the oil changed. You can do it yourself; see Owner's Manual or FSM for procedure.

Thanks guys, I believe you are correct I looked and it was set at 7500 and it reads 7515 which is why the light went off. Dealership must not have reset it. But the manual shows that oil picture for low oil... Ill change it tomorrow hopefully it'll go away.

i guess mine is set to never remind me. ive never seen that light come on...

This just happened to me today I was pretty worried cuz if you look in the book the first thing you see says oil pressure warning pull off the road immediately. But if you keep looking there's another section with like the alerts that come up on the little screen that tells you it's just time for an oil change basically.
