In the past JWT swapped to HR heads to get around VVEL. I'll be interested to see what they come up with for VHR heads.

I am so tempted to go NA because not many do. Cams would be nothing but the price of the cams for me, Install would be on me. I love how 1slow370's car sounded. It sure has me thinking.

I bought a spare block, to follow in his step, there is an dry sump setup thst is in prototype right now and would cost around 4 grand.that's not including the tank and an fittings. But i know someone who makes them so i can get them at 5-10 a piece. Only thing is if there is a company willing to put the time and effort to come up with a badass manifold that makes power. Ecu tek has already proven with a good tuner, you make more power than with an uprev tune. If you install the cams ill. Drive up to ga and pay you to n put them in for me.

I have been researching the way to get around the need for a dry sump. The only way is to keep the rpm's stock. There is an old saying, "There is no replacement for displacement". For a dry sump, it would run for a kit 5K or so. For a stroker kit, it is about the same. Both will need to have the engine removed. IMO, a stroker kit would be a sure beat and the way to go with cam upgrades. You can increase the compression ratio at the same time. Labor is on me, so that's not a big deal. You could do LTH's, lightened flywheel, clutch, Cam install, ported heads, or whatever you want while you have the engine out. It would be easier to do the cams and LTH's with the engine out anyway. Cost for everything would be about 7-8K. Just a thought.

Yeah, i have a guy here who could get me with the build, time is the issue for him. Im sure there is a way to get around the dry sump, just would take a couple motors to find out.

The alternative to a dry sump is a wet sump with external oil pump to overcome the limitations of the OE oil-pump.

Why have either a stroker kit or a dry sump when you can have both

Parts collecting. New 70mm TB's coming in the mail soon. Next is Jwt stage 2 cams and upgraded valvetrain. Next thing I'm thinking over are injectors, I was leaning toward ID750cc.
