Thats a gnarly set up. I cant afford dry sump and hr head swap to do ITB's. I have plan next year to come close to 400whp on the vvel heads and still staying NA.

that's pretty amazing

Thats sasha from onpoint dyno. That was testing for a BGTV for his build in Australia. He is also running a motec, that itself is like 10 grand. That car is a vq35 with a 370z oem crank i believe.

Correct, Sasha's engine is a VQ35HR block, race ported heads, JWT GrandAm spec pistons (12.5:1) and OEM 3.7 litre crank. My build is essentially the same but with a 92mm stroke crank for 4.0 litres.

Sasha runs race gas, I plan E85 so I can go higher in compression (13.5:1 at least).

I saw that video he has a nice setup is he running a dry sump as well?

Elmo370z 06-02-2016 02:02 PM

Yes. i believe so, to run and sustain running that much rpm. There isn't another solution to spin the motor that hard for a prolong period and want reliability.

The build is in motion, just got a parts lists of everything i want. Now i just have to stack dead presidents. Target time August 2017.

I been following your build and say the least very excited about it. You still sticking with the vvel heads? Wonder how much power that v-8 ooo excuse v-6 will make.

Elmo370z 12-27-2016 06:02 PM

So are 1050 cc injectors too much for NA build?

Elmo370z 12-27-2016 06:04 PM

I plan on using e 85 for the most part
