Urgent help please.

Next time, get some 110v electrical flex and wrap it around the filter - you can use it like a "grinder" on a yacht to spin the fitter off - either that or a bigger hammer !!

Indeed. Failure on this project did not end, when I went to lower the car I had the jack arm out at approx 45 degrees and the car bumper came crashing down on it, resulting in a ding in the lower center part of the bumper FML! You'd think that I am a total noob at oil changes. All the cars I have had I used to change the oil and also brakes and tranny oil etc not many issues. Hell and I have a lot of cars I am like 43 years old!

This is always how I begin. Depending on the work, this isn't always the case when I finish. I practically needed a six pack just to limber up so I could contort myself under the dash to install my RJM clutch pedal assembly. And then there's the time I didn't have all the tools, so I had to call my buddy to drive across town - I might have had a few too many while waiting as he had to finish up the work for me
