Rev characteristics - strain from 5,000 to 7500rpm in 1st gear

Do you guys notice when winding out 1st gear that the engine does not really pull smoothly to redline, its like you have to force it. Does anyone know why

Default Rev characteristics - strain from 5,000 to 7500rpm in 1st gear

Do you guys notice when winding out 1st gear that the engine does not really pull smoothly to redline, its like you have to force it. Does anyone know why this or if there is a remedy. Its not as apparent in 2nd or 3rd, but in 1st gear the car feels starved for air in the upper rev range.

Anyone else notice this? I don't wind it up much in 1st, but yeah....

Been so long since I was stock I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to but you aren't getting full throttle in 1st gear. That's one of the positives to getting tuned. Full throttle in every gear.

Yeah its nissan playing super safe to the engine, its designed to hit a/f ratio of 14.7:1 all the way till 2.8k rpm and the WOT is set to ~11.5 way to rich in case idiot costumer put oct gas less than 91 and damage the engine.
