Assuming OEM gauges, the battery should be at 14.2 (pretty sure that's what I've read) and the gauge is quite a ways from that. Try a new battery.

To me it sounds like a failing fuel pump. Its just enough to build enough pressure to get a fire and kick out the starter but then the pressure drops and it dies.
Could be a battery, just throw a charger on it and try and start it. Thats the easiest check by far. |

If it's a fuel pump I'm sure I've got one in my shed you're more than welcome to buy for cheap. But check the battery first. |
Turn out to be the battery, just had to let the car be on the "on" position and spread some voltage all over the car. It started right up. Thanks for the advice!!
|
Glad it was an easy one

I'd still take it up to autozone and have it tested. Healthy batteries don't do that.
|
+1 for getting your battery checked, that shouldn't be happening

I'm going to try spreading some voltage later. |
Yeah, voltage doesn't spread. Electricity doesn't just mosey on over to the other side of the car.

so wat was the root cause? the hell is "spreading voltage?"
sounds more like a back clutch or brake sw to me. |
Lol just ignore what I said.
Although I meant, I just let my car idle at on position and saw a voltage meter going above 12 mark from 10. |
Still, that thing is on its way out.
