To me it sounds like a failing fuel pump. Its just enough to build enough pressure to get a fire and kick out the starter but then the pressure drops

To me it sounds like a failing fuel pump. Its just enough to build enough pressure to get a fire and kick out the starter but then the pressure drops and it dies.
Could be a battery, just throw a charger on it and try and start it. Thats the easiest check by far.
