4.5L stroker kit

Anyone running GTM stroker kit naturally aspirated? Just wondering if 480bhp is safely attainable using this stroker kit + other bolt ons and tune.

Run a quick search on GTM before investing a dime/loonie with them.

It would be interesting to see gains with a stroker kit just for NA applications.....but I think this type of question has been done to death on the forums - I believe the usual end result will be forum members saying do it only if you going with forced induction because of the expense and $$$$$. Resisting common sense will see you get flamed......

480bhp - supercharge or turbo kits already available.
my 2cents.

Cheers

I thought you had that motor built to handle a big SC. Isn't the compression going to be too low to make decent power NA?

Scroll halfway down. In-Stock, no drama required, straight from the true manufacturer <shrug>

The only downside is that the BC kit only takes you to 4.15L. I don't know what the output difference in a 4.15L/4.2L and a 4.5L block is though.

Edit: Never mind, I forgot to scroll down.

Ya they LIST up to a 4.34L there, but if you told them you want to go further, I am sure they will work with you. This would be done with either more bore, or offset grind on the stroker crank to get even more stroke out of it. This is all basic hot-rod'n for any machine shop and engine internal component manufacturer. I would be careful how much futher I pushed the displacement though. Displacement in a VQ is nice because you can get to your power without all the RPM, which can help spare you the oil pump drama... but you dont want to push the block too far. I would assume 4.5L is going to come out of a sleeve job and extra bore on top of the 4.34L stroker. I would never sleeve the block.

just remember the BC is known to have serious install issues so make sure whatever shop you have put it together has done one before Crower Stroker Kit....4.15 liter VQ - MY350Z.COM Forums
