Glad its just the plate. I think the other guy who had a broken clutch had a Southbend also but it was the disc that fragmented.

Are they sending you a whole new clutch assembly w/ a new flywheel or are they just replacing the pressure plate?

Joepro 04-02-2014 05:53 PM

Flywheel is fine as is the disk, but I am replacing the disk anyway since it is apart. S%t breaks, Shane at work has broke 4 clutches in 2 years with his neon, one ACT,another single disk I forget the brand, and broke a pressure plate and a disk twice on a clutch masters twin disk...

Hey Joepro, I like how you painted your engine/intake cover to match your car. I would paint mine but my car is platinum grey/silver already...

PS Don't forget to change the CSC, I think it gets extended onto the dirty part of the sleeve when the bell housing is pulled and the O-Ring picks up serious contamination.

I have a zspeed csc in there an It doesn't have a ton of miles on it, im gonna roll with it.

glad its nothing serious!

Joepro 04-02-2014 08:06 PM

Joe shipped it immediately, will be at the house tomorrow, should be back on the road before I know it, I left the tranny strapped to the jack so I can plop it right back in. :)

Joepro 04-02-2014 08:52 PM
