I didn't think we had a balancer either. The only chain I can think of is the timing chain, and you'd know if that broke. If the pulley's on right, the next thing to check would be the flywheel. It's got to be either something spinning or something making contact where it shouldn't.

I swaped the pulley,had a stillen on it no affect what so ever. Ya itf the timing chain broke well ya haha, seen those before.

And if your flywheel was to blame I would expect you to see a bunch of codes related to the crank angle sensor.

How did the oil checkout? I cant think of anything else that would cause your issues. Was it an instant change? or just got worse over a few miles?

If the oil, afr etc all look normal I'd go ahead and assume the motor's fine. Now you have to check everything bolted to it.

On the upside, with everything you cross off the possibility list, the less expensive it would seem to be getting.

Its still quite frustrating esp when a bunch of techs have no idea...got my nissan connections working now but I'm so mentally exhausted.

Is there any way to verify if the poly inside the motor mount disintegrated? Personally I'd check everything else off the list before I pulled the transmission.

Can you look at the afrs of each bank with uprev and just double check that they are in spec? I am still thinking one of the banks is messing up in one way or another and giving you that vibration.

I know its not the same engine or even close to the same. But on the Chevy diesel engines some of the models are known for their injector harnesses rubbing through causing 2 or more injectors to stop working, and when that happens it 100% looks like the engine just popped. Its amazing what a couple dead cylinders do to the harmonics of the engine.

My train of though is if you see if the bank is running very lean (injectors) if you see it is running very rich (spark). If both banks seem to be pretty close to each other than that train of thought goes out the window.

Just another thing to try.

Yeah good luck with dealer techs good ones are few and far between nowadays when the ish gets complicated like this. The manual does say you have air leaks if it is throwing p0507. Might have happened during your troubleshooting when you pulled the manifold.

I took the bottom bolts out of the mounts and jacked up that assembly no change.

Sounds like it may be time to pull the tranny and see if your clutch or flywheel **** the bed. Otherwise, track down somebody local with an Uprev cable and Cypher loaded on their laptop.

Any cable will work since you already have a license. Cipher will tell you if it's got any stored codes.
