How much power can the 6 speed manual transmission handle?

I come from the supra world where the V160 was pretty much bullet proof and took everything you threw at it. I'm now getting into a 370Z with a manual transmission and eventually going forced induction. I've searched the forums but can't seem to find the answers. I know which clutch to order so that isn't the problem but rather how much power can one put through the stock transmission without it blowing up? 500whp? 600whp? I know a lot of it is based on how you drive and what you do with the car. This car will strictly be a street car and not a quarter mile drag car. Any help would be great.

Over 600 whp all day but a lot of things matter on how long it does last, mostly driving style. Nothing has been proven and there are a few who have ran it up to the upper 600 whp range with no issues. Bottom line is you will need to build the motor before worrying about destroying the manual trans. IMO they are very stout.
