They are wrong. An oil cooler WILL NOT void your warranty. It can cause a warranty CLAIM to be denied if, and only if, the cooler is the direct cause.

They are wrong. An oil cooler WILL NOT void your warranty. It can cause a warranty CLAIM to be denied if, and only if, the cooler is the direct cause. That's it. Nissan decides what to pay for under warranty, not the dealer. They're misleading you.
The only way what you want to do will cause a warranty claim to be denied is if the part/install led to other damage.
