I would keep the oil temp sensor in the stock location. Because if you move it. It will see a different temp which will affect when limp mode comes in.
I ran my LTH's, 12" resonators and CBE for about 6 months before I got it tuned. When I got it tuned. Vince at RT Tuning said that the ECU adjusted to the new parts. Just had to fine tune it to smooth out the throttle and the bumps in the curve.

Another very cheap option is to use the torque app for droid or Iphone. You will need to purchase a bluetooth device..they are 30 bucks or so. It plugs into the obd11 port and you can monitor just abou anything the ecu sends info on. Of the many things AFR measured and AFR commanded can be monitored. Very cheap alternative while your deciding on gauges etc...

So today, I went to my standard dealership and another dealership to ask about the gauge install. At both dealerships the desk person sent me to talk to the senior technician. And at both dealership they said the same thing: An oil cooler will void my power train warranty. The oil filter sandwich plate will void the warranty. Any gauges that require taping into the coolant system will void the warranty. The said that a TP for an AFR meter is very borderline and they both recommended against it. The said the Nismo CAI is covered and the CBE is acceptable because it is easily removable and fairly common.
However, both of them seemed to think the scan gauge was a good idea and that it sounded like it in no way would affect the warranty. So because of that I will be getting a scan gauge. I hope this info will help other people who are interested in modifying within their warranty. Those are the recommendations straight from the dealership. I will take their word over anyone else's because they are the ones who decide what they will and will not pay for when something breaks under warranty.

They are wrong. An oil cooler WILL NOT void your warranty. It can cause a warranty CLAIM to be denied if, and only if, the cooler is the direct cause. That's it. Nissan decides what to pay for under warranty, not the dealer. They're misleading you.
The only way what you want to do will cause a warranty claim to be denied is if the part/install led to other damage.
