It's not so much about the proper sub-forum as it is about posting the same thing more than once. No need to post more than once.

It can sometimes be difficult to pick the right sub-forum for a new thread. Pick the one that makes the most sense to you and a moderator can move it if he/she disagrees. It this particular case, Engine & Drivetrain makes the most sense to me. W/SM/S/R doesn't really fit unless you were asking if it would be covered under warranty.

Problem solved.

You were right Southark:tup:. The shift lever switch had not been properly snapped into it's receptacle at the factory (probably on a Friday afternoon or Monday morning).
