I believe that the clunk was from the 2-piece flywheel bottoming out. I believe the noise was gone after doing my turbo and clutch etc install. I cannot think of anything else I changed out that could have been making that noise. If you are not familiar with the VQ flywheel... The flywheels friction plate is suspended by springs.
