Minus the power, the ipl g37 will fit that need.

True but I wanted a Z again, so I bought a touring with the 7AT, supercharged it, changed the exhaust and upgraded the breaks. All of that was about the same price as the Nismo add on but with a bunch more power and a better sound.

Did you do anything to the tranny after the supercharger addition?

Nothing but adding a trans cooler. The trans is rated at 300 ft lbs and I'm just over that so time will tell. The 7AT has really impressed me so far, I live in south Florida and this time of year the traffic here is crazy so I just cant deal with a stick.

Oh and we upped the line pressure with uprev.

The car sat in a Naples garage in a winter home and I bought it this summer for 26,500 with 6,000 miles in it. I was looking at new ones at the time it came up for sale and I loved the yellow. I was working on a deal for a 2013 sport touring at the time but the dealer was working with me much. It didn't have the sport breaks but it will next week. Im around 40K now but that includes the supercharger, Aquamist meth injection, Stillen exhaust, adding sport breaks and having them powder coated black with yellow logos, carbon fiber vented hood and boost /AFR gauge installed where the clock was. It's 406 WHP/302 TQ. Don't take me wrong, I like the nismo body kit and wheels but I think it's over priced since they didn't add more power.

If you bought your car for a warranty buying a used car might not make since but since I intended to make it fast it really didn't make a difference to me.

no i completely understand about saving some cash and fixing up a non nismo version. if i liked the look of the car non-nismo i would have done that. but honestly i love the look and right now im not looking to boost it.

but as you said you are at $40k right now. i paid well under that for a NEW nismo. (granted im not supercharged)

The first thing I did was the exhaust and that passed the Nismo HP and I was well under 30K!

Because I like to track the car the wing would have came off a Nismo for a working wing (not on mine yet but it will be) so thats not worth anything to me personally. I would have left the body kit but My car will get one in carbon to match the hood and wing so its better for me personally. The Nismo coil overs are non adjustable so they would have gotten changes so when you add all of that plus not being able to get the options I wanted it turned me off. I love the looks but there was a lot better bang for the buck to me. Nismos still look sexy in my rear view mirror!
